Welcome to Blonde Girl Meets World!
My name is Abby; I am a college student writing about my
adventure into the adulthood, sharing my love for life through this blog. I
have considered starting a blog for quite some time—writing is sort of my
thing. I’ve been writing stories since I was a kid, and into my later teenage
years I’ve become more interested in the way that others share their lives via
the internet. I find YouTube to be amazing, and always imagine myself becoming
a beauty guru, yogi or talk show host. It’s a silly day dream, but I know one
day I’ll make it work.
I guess I’ll start off with just a little bit about myself:
I am a 19 year old junior at Curry College, majoring in Community Health &
Wellness. Although I am not positive on my specific life path currently, I am
very interested in personal training and nutrition. I am the president and
founder of my school’s health club, HIPS (Health, Image, Power, Success), and
loving every second of it. We promote happiness through healthiness through our
meetings and programs, as well as educate on certain health topics. I am a
second-year Resident Assistant (RA) and a second-year Orientation Leader (OL),
as well as a Building Manager at Curry’s Student Center. I have yet to complete
my training as SBM (Student Building Manager), but last year I was an
Information Desk Attendant and thoroughly enjoyed my experience in the hub and
heart of my college.
I love learning and I love feeling inspired. Although not
every day is easy, I strive to find the good in every day, and while I may
struggle, I know that my path to positivity is worth it every step of the way.
On this blog I hope to post about a plethora of exciting
things—beauty, college life, RA, health & fitness, and many more! Today is
the day I finally begin what could be a most wonderful thing for me, and I can’t
wait to see what blogging has in store for me.
Thanks for reading!
